The studio and the music
Live Track Productions brought my music production work into a recording studio I owned and equipped with my own computers and tools. I produced music for my own projects and other artists, with work spanning writing, performing, arranging, mixing, and mastering recordings.
Writing and guiding performers
On tracks where I performed, I wrote my own lyrics. I also wrote lyrics for the female performers I worked with and coached them on rap delivery, singing, and melody. The other male artists wrote their own material.
The work continued beyond the recording studio. For live performances, I prepared stage music and developed choreography when needed.
Working with collaborators
I worked with a pianist friend who contributed to some of the tracks and music. I also taught him drums. Bringing those contributions together was part of the production work, alongside the artists’ own writing and performances.
The identity around the business
Alongside the music, I personally created the Live Track Productions logo, graphic artwork, and website. The original black-and-white LT mark above is part of that identity.
The archived website header below is another surviving piece of the business’s visual identity.
From music to multimedia
Live Track taught me to connect a creative vision with the practical work needed to deliver it. I equipped and operated the studio, guided artists, worked with collaborators, and created the business’s visual identity and website. That same combination of creative direction and hands-on technical work shapes my consulting today: understand the goal, choose and connect the right tools, and help turn an idea into work people can use.
